Winter fun

Davos Klosters is an ideal resort for non-skiers to enjoy the white winter days, away from fog.  The well prepared and marked winter walking trails start right outside the hotel. The walk to the lake takes approx. 10 minutes. Recommended also are walks into the side valleys of Dischma and Sertig or a hike down the valley to Davos Glaris in the glorious sunshine.

Snowshoe hikers find well signposted trails in the valley floor or on Pischa. Snowshoes can be rented next door in Bünda Sport with up to 20% discount.

What about a romantic sleigh ride? The carriages are waiting directly opposite the hotel car park.

Ice sport enthusiasts have many opportunities in Davos. Be it as a spectator at a championship match by the local team HCD (Hockey Club Davos) or at the legendary international Spengler Cup (December 26th and 31st).

Good opportunities for ice skating, curling or Bavarian curling are available on the ice rink in Davos Platz.  A smaller ice rink for skating and hobby ice hockey players is open between mid-December and mid-February on the small lake in Davos Dorf opposite the Parsenn lower terminus.

Special fun can be had by young and old when sledging and / or airboarding down the Bünda or from Schatzalp to Davos Platz or even the fast natural toboggan run from Rinerhorn to Davos Glaris.
