Manuela Vieli and Thorsten Bode welcome you as your hosts at the Hotel Restaurant Bünda!

The cosy three-star hotel impresses with its hospitality and the dream location in a sunny, quiet and central location. Here alpine skiers, cross-country skiers, families and bon vivants will find what they are looking for. The cross-country skiing trails and walking paths pass directly by the house and it is only a few steps to the valley station of the Parsenn cable cars. You can also quickly reach the Davos Dorf train station and the bus stops - your shuttles to the complete Davos Klosters offer in the areas of sports, culture and entertainment.

Manuela Vieli is responsible for the hotel area. Especially now in this situation around the Covid-19, it is a big concern for her to offer the guests a time out in a relaxed atmosphere. Distance rules and hygiene measures are strictly followed.

Thorsten Bode is responsible for the physical well-being. The ambitious, quality-conscious and passionate chef spoils the guests with culinary delights.

Thorsten's ravioli or would you prefer tarte flambée? At the Restaurant Bünda, every taste is catered for.

The whole week our kitchen sweetens your lunch and evening with fine homemade ravioli's and tarte flambée. For the big appetite the restaurant offers a lunch and dinner menu. On it you will find exquisite dishes such as rib eye from the Dry Ager, veal chops or traditional sliced veal liver.

A house full of stories

It all began more than 60 years ago when the Caveng family opened a simple guesthouse uf dr Bünda. Bünda is a field name of Davos and designates the neighborhood. That's why you can still find many house names in combination with "Bünda" today.

Margrith and Hansjörg Caveng took over the parental business in 1950. More rooms and the expansion of the restaurant in the 60s was the next step. The Bünda became a popular, family-run hotel and restaurant where guests and locals alike felt at home. In 1980, the Residenz was opened with a total of 25 additional rooms.

In 2004, a tenant took over the business for the first time. Barbara and Dennis Schneider were known in the region as tourism experts, but not as restaurateurs. Highly motivated, the Schneiders also invested in the business. Their house credo "Enjoy every day of your vacation" was to become tangible. Rooms were refurnished and the à la carte restaurant completely redesigned.

Starting in the fall of 2014, Claude Kaiser became the tenant at Bünda for five years.

At the start of the 2019/2020 winter season, your current hosts Manuela Vieli and Thorsten Bode took over the Bünda. With a lot of cordiality, feeling for their guests and passion they lead the business.
